Cleanvix
These Terms govern your use of Cleanvix ("the App"), developed and published by Naveen ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using Cleanvix, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Cleanvix does
Cleanvix is a device-storage and utility app for Android that helps you scan and clean safe junk/cache files, find duplicate and similar/blurry photos, browse and manage files, review installed apps and their permissions, and monitor battery and thermal status — all processed locally on your device.
2. Your responsibility for deletions
File and cache deletion, app uninstalls, and zip/unzip actions are performed only when you explicitly select items and confirm an action. Most deleted files (duplicates, photos, leftover installers, large files, and files removed in the Files Manager) move to Cleanvix's on-device Recycle Bin, where they can be restored for 7 days before being permanently erased. App cache and empty folders are freed immediately and are not recoverable, since they hold no user data. Please review what you select before confirming a delete.
3. No guarantee of exhaustive detection
Duplicate and junk detection use real, on-device signals — file size, content hashing, and image-similarity analysis — but, like any scanning tool, may occasionally miss files or flag borderline cases differently than you would. You always have final control over what gets deleted.
4. Permissions
Cleanvix only requests permissions needed for the features you use (storage/media access, optional Usage Access for usage/data-usage reporting, and network access solely for the optional analytics described below). You can decline or revoke any permission at any time in Android Settings; some features will be limited accordingly.
5. Optional analytics and crash reporting
Cleanvix integrates Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google services), controlled by a single Settings → Privacy toggle that is off by default. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what data this involves. Enabling or disabling this toggle has no effect on your ability to use any cleaning, scanning, or file-management feature of the app.
6. No warranty
Cleanvix is provided "as is." While we aim for accuracy in every figure the app shows, we do not guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that estimates (such as battery hours remaining) will always be available — some figures require a period of real on-device measurement before they can be shown.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, device issues, or other damages arising from use of the App, including from file deletions you initiate.
8. Changes to the app or these terms
We may update Cleanvix's features and these Terms over time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
